SHED Medical Inventory
Adrianne Cornette, Brianna Tomasi, Carly Rittenhouse, Kateri Ang, Sruthi Sundaram
During our time in Tanzania, one of the projects that was completed was a full inventory of the medical supplies in the SHED office. We were able to distribute supplies that had been donated by various sources into appropriate boxes as well as reorganize the existing supplies. All boxes were labeled on all sides as well as dated with the day that we organized them. The boxes were then organized in a manner that got most of the sensitive equipment off of the floor. Finally, any expired medications or equipment were placed in separate boxes and labeled as expired. It was quite a mess when we arrived, and by the time we left we felt it was easy to understand and maneuver.
